She can't take anymorrrrre, Cap'n!

I think my primary hard drive is about to take a dive. I hear a slight hum in it that sounds like it's trying to slow down. I've heard it before many moons ago… and it's not a good thing. It's a Maxtor 8GB drive that's been in this system and virtually on all the time for about five years. I've upgraded this system many times, but that thing has lasted a while. I just saved all of our important e-mails and stuff over to the 100GB Western Digital drive. It's only about a year and half old. It should be fine. I just hope the drive will hold up for a while longer.
