Friday!

October 17th, 2003 by Brock

Today was better than I hoped. After the water heater fiasco this morning, we finally got back to sleep. The maintenance guys came in and had everything back up and running by early afternoon. My buddy, Justin, and I went to see “Kill Bill” after everything was fixed. Quentin Tarantino's got a screw loose somewhere, but the fact is that man can make a heck of a movie. “Pulp Fiction” is still one of my favorites to this day. I can't wait for volume two of the movie to come out.

I've got a cold, and Amy's not home from work yet. I haven't spoken to her all day, but I hope she's feeling well after a rough night last night. Maybe this cold is the reason (as well as the lack of sleep) I've had a hard time controlling my temper over the last two weeks. I haven't “lost it,” or anything. I just find myself getting overly agitated at every little thing. My classes and two jobs certainly don't help my attitude at all. I've kept it in check everywhere, but at home, GRRRRRRRRR. It's not Amy. She's still as sweet as can be, but man… I just think about things and get angry. I haven't had a spell like this in about three years.

I'm determined to watch “The Matrix Reloaded” again tonight. I haven't watched it since I bought it, but maybe Amy will watch it with me. She wasn't fond of the first one, but maybe she'll humor me. Actually, I just want to curl up next to her tonight and sleep. I love being married…
