Tuscaloosa has been an absolute blast, but…

I've got a job! And after years of waiting to get out of there, we're going back to Columbus, GA. I've been hired by WTVM, Channel 9. Most of you know that Columbus was not my first choice when Amy and I moved there back in 1999, but I'm willing to give it another shot. Things are different now, and they offered me a deal I couldn't turn down. This was the best offer for us since I didn't get the Huntsville job. However, this company has a station there, and I can possibly move up later on. For now, we're just tired of moving.

I'll be working Monday through Friday in the Auburn-Opelika bureau. We will be living in Columbus for two reasons since it's only a 30-minute commute to the bureau:
#1-We know Columbus and Amy wants to get back into the school district there;
#2-(remember how much I love you guys from there…) No self-respecting University of Alabama man would ever live in Auburn.
