Fun night ahead

September 7th, 2004 by Brock

A few thoughts from the newsdesk this afternoon:

-Last night was fun. I got to drive to Columbus in the wind and rain left over from Hurricane Frances. Almost got hit twice. Wonderful.

-Tonight will be a lot better. As of right now, I'm slated to go to Lanett and interview Governor Riley in about four hours. I'm pretty excited about that! I've always wanted to meet him.

-Amy woke up this morning to ants on our kitchen counter. I love when the weather drives them inside. Our kitchen now smells like bug spray and we've had to wash everything.

-Just about finished on my new site design. Most of the content will be the same, but I'm updating the look of it.

-The good thing about working on Labor Day? Holiday pay, baby.

-After giving up on fast food for a while, I had Burger King today. I've not eaten there in over two years. I had it my way… and it was good.

Thoughts have fizzled out. Time to hurry up and wait for the governor. Later!
