Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm having to do this from work because BellSouth in their infinite glory canceled my DSL transfer. They won't have it running until Tuesday.
We are fully in our new house! We are extremely happy with it! There are miles and miles of boxes, but it's worth it.
Here is my list of eternal thanks for people who have helped us: Mom R., Mom P., Dad, Mary, Walker, Melanie, Jimmy, Clayton, and Shelley.
I will soon buy a storage shed and then… A GRILL! I'm serving up food for those listed above in the Spring. Thanks again, guys.
For those of you not able to make it over to help, come visit soon! We still have a long way to go with getting it straight, but we have plenty of sleeping space. No need to work, just keep us company.
Not much else going on outside of this move. I know Justin, Dave, and Mike Whitlock have tried to reach me during the holidays. I'm so sorry for not responding yet. Everything has just been in a tizzy.
I'm on the air soon, so I need to go. Maybe the next update will be from home!

Of all flipping things… Russian hackers defaced my web site. As of now, the Russian text is still up, and my web host is checking into it. Needless to say, I'm not pleased right now. I don't know how or why this happened, but I hope the problem can soon be fixed.
I translated the Russian text and it's basically a threat to Bill Gates and Microsoft. Maybe I'll post it for the heck of it soon.
Morons…
UPDATE: It's fixed. I now know why it happened. I wasn't targeted specifically. Many thanks to my awesome web host, Bengal Marketing!

- We're still packing. We are hoping to move into our new house by the 22nd, but it's not looking good. The seller is moving out, the realtors are ready, the bank is almost ready. I say that because the VA might hold things up. The new roof is on the house, the appraiser has been out to it, but he did not submit his paperwork quickly. The bank has to have the appraisal tomorrow. Ugh… a government agency that can have something turned around in a day? Ha, ha, ha, ha! Remember, I was in the Air Force. Things do not happen quickly in the government. Will we move in by the 22nd? Only time will tell, and there's not much of that left.
- I've no days off during the holidays except the 24th and 25th. See why we need to move in early? We have to be out of our storage unit and apartment by the first of the year.
- We do not have any Christmas decorations up this year because of the move. It does not feel like the holidays at our house.
- I saw my second dead body (in my news career) today. Guy wasn't paying attention, veered into oncoming traffic, and well…
- We had our station Christmas party this past Saturday night. I finally got a real present from a company. They gave us $100 gift certificates to a jewelry store. Then we had to the chance to pick an envelope off a tree. I wound up with a $50 card to Circuit City. Two hours later, it was spent.
- I've been playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II like crazy. I beat it two nights ago, so I'm now playing the dark side.
- I'm spent. Good night!

I saw this on several journals, took the quiz, and laughed at the results! Fits me to a “T!”
