Perks of the Job

August 4th, 2005 by Brock

I covered a charity golf tournament back in May. It made me realize how much I miss working in sports.

One of my life heroes, Gene Stallings (Alabama)
Tommy Tuberville (Auburn)
Lee Corso (ESPN)
Mark Richt (Georgia)
Mike Shula (Alabama)

    I hate to make my first post to your blog one of those pain-in-the-rear “you spelled something wrong” posts… but you spelled something wrong.

    Tuberville has one “B”

    It’s a common mistake. In fact, the first time I ever met the man was at the Columbus Quarterback Club back in 2001… and they had his name spelled with two Bs on the sign.

    Anyway, happy blogging!!!

    Snap! Ya got me! :-) That’s what I get for doing that a crazy time of the morning. Thanks for catching that! If it’s cool, I’d love to add you to my link list. You can add me if you’d like.

    You know he did that on purpose.

    I can tell you that he wouldn’t spell Shula’s name wrong, oh no.

    That would be unheard of.

    ;-}
