Here’s our new little girl, Alyssa. Enjoy!

I’m on a brief stop from the hospital, but I wanted to drop you a quick line to tell you about our new baby! Alyssa Louesa was born today (February 21, 2006) at 2:34 p.m. CST. She was 7 lbs, 1 oz., 20 inches long and has a head full of dark brown hair!

Forgive the lack of pictures, but I will try to post some by the weekend. Amy went into labor last night around 9:30, and we’ve been at the hospital since midnight. We are all doing great, and little Alyssa is just precious!

Thanks for all of your support and prayers as we adjust to parenthood. There will be more updates to come.

“Another Saturday night and I ain’t got no baby…” Amy’s felt bad all day, but alas, no “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

I can stop the bad music references at any time, but why bother? I’ll keep you posted.

Amy’s having contractions again today. We’re not there just yet, but this weekend is looking mighty good for us to have a baby!
