It’s been a long weekend, but an even longer Monday thus far. Amy’s mom got remarried yesterday, and we now have a bigger family. We spent the weekend with them, and we really had a great time. We’re all happy about the growth.

It’s Monday, and I’m just exhausted. I don’t feel like going into work, but naturally, I will. Maybe a good story will fall into my lap. I’ve got one up my sleeve, and maybe I can do it.

The weirdest thing happened at the station today. We’re trying to get all the of the 6:00 p.m. show finished, and everybody’s computers flip out. Even mine in the bureau went nuts.

Best we can figure out is all the dumb things started doing a Windows update at the same time. It killed the prompter at the beginning of the show.

Unreal.

In probably my busiest news day in quite a while, I managed to learn some interesting things about a few people.

I hope you’re doing well. My voice is almost gone because of a nasty pollen attack last week while mowing the lawn. I don’t know if I’ll have a voice at all Friday. That leaves a television reporter in limbo, ya know…
