I had a great Father’s Day Sunday! First of all, thank you to all who called, e-mailed and sent me text messages. It really meant a lot.

Alyssa helped make a couple of homemade cards for me. They are absolutely precious! I’ll see if I can post pictures of them soon, along with other FD photos. Amy and Alyssa got me some great gifts. I love my family beyond anyone’s imagination.

I have two anniversaries coming up this week. Today is a very special one. Amy and I have been married for eight wonderful years! Happy anniversary, Sweetheart! I love you!

Thursday is another one. It will mark three years at WTVM for me. My GM sent me a card and some movie tickets, which I always appreciate.

I love my station very much. There have been some positive changes over the last couple of months that have really turned my attitude around (check the previous blogs at BlogSpot and LiveJournal to see various remarks). I may go into details, but I’m not the kind to open a can of worms if I can help it. I may password-protect the post and ask you to register to see it. You’ll know if that happens by seeing a… well… password-protected post.

It’s a great week, and I hope it only gets better.

You’re probably wondering… Well, probably not… About the title of this post. This is a band I recently discovered from Columbus, Ohio.

They are the band featured in one of the best TV station promos I’ve ever seen. Check it out below, then check out the band’s web site. I wish they were local here. I’d see them as often as I could.

I’m nothing short of ecstatic right now! Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will announce he’s heading to Hendrick Motorsports!

Anyone who knows me knows I’ve been a devoted Jeff Gordon fan since he showed up on the Cup circuit. I’ve also been a fan of Junior’s since he showed up, too. Not to mention Jimmie Johnson is another favorite of mine…

What’s great to me about this is all the Junior fans that hate Jeff Gordon. Believe me, there’s a TON of them. Now, they’ll be on the same team… HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

It’s a perfect match for a Hendrick fan like me. For all the rednecks who are choking on their beer over this announcement, well… Maybe you can throw your cans at some other driver for a change.

I became tired of Paris Hilton once I learned her name a few years ago. I’m absolutely sick of her now. She’s had everything handed to her on a silver platter, and she only became famous because she’s a degenerate.
