A slow Wednesday afternoon
I’m finally able to update again from my office. Not that I haven’t been able to, but I’ve been incredibly busy at work. I finally have a couple of free minutes to do this.
Not too much is really going on. I’ve got my iPod on, and I’m listening to Linkin Park. It’s nice to have a job where I can do Web work and listen to good music all day. I realllllly don’t miss television.
Speaking of, I’m counting down to Memorial Day. In news, you have to almost beg, kick and scream to get a holiday off. Here? I just sleep in Monday. This is my first holiday I don’t have to ask off for in many, many years. It’s an awesome feeling.
Things are pretty good everywhere. I’ve knocked out a couple of big projects here at work, and home is going well. Alyssa isn’t feeling to well because she’s got some teeth coming in, but she’s doing fine otherwise. She seems to cling to me when I get home from work. She’ll crawl up in my lap for a little while and lay her head on my shoulder. What an awesome feeling and precious little girl. I love being a dad.
Amy is doing well. She’s slowly getting out of the first trimester and her sick phases. It’s been rough on her, but she and the new babe keep trucking along. I’ll post a photo of our first ultrasound when I get home from work. Look for it on the “photos” page… probably under the “family” section.
I still haven’t seen “Iron Man,” and I really want to. I’m going to try and catch the new “Indiana Jones” flick this weekend. Outside of that, I’ll be cleaning out the shed and looking for yard sale stuff. I’ll also grill out for the first time this year. I’m really looking forward to that.
I got my replica “Flux Capacitor” in the mail Monday. It’s a life-sized prop from “Back to the Future,” and it’s freakin’ sweet! I’ll try to get some pictures up soon.
I guess that’s enough for today. I need to get back to some work. I’m waiting on a change order from one of the colleges, so I don’t have a lot to do until then.
Keep checking the live cam up in the left column. You never know when I’ll be on!
