Tomorrow is Thursday, our ninth wedding anniversary! I still believe to this day I am the most blessed man to have Amy. She is a wonderful wife, mother and best friend. If you’ve met her, you know what I mean.
We’re heading to the Atlanta area for a few days. Mom is house and babysitting for us. I’m really looking forward to some alone time and not worrying about anything.
I finished two projects at work today, so I don’t have to think about those. As for everything else, not much is happening. I completed a huge video project for church, and Amy delivered the DVD today.
You know, when I sat down to write this, I thought I had a lot more to say. I guess I don’t, but things are going well. I’m looking forward to sleeping past 6 a.m. tomorrow, and I’m really looking forward to seeing “Get Smart” Friday night.
I’ll write more if I can think of anything else, but it’s time to just relax.

Just looking on Drudge Report, and I’m having a hard time understanding why people are calling this woman a pregnant man. You know the one I’m talking about. Had the operation and the hormones to look like a man, but kept all the plumbing so she could still have a kid.
This gal is four weeks away from giving birth, and all these media outlets are going nuts over a “pregnant man.” Physically impossible, folks! Some days it’s no wonder I left the news business.
On that note, happy Monday to you!

Wow… I just realized what today is. Today is my 10-year anniversary of leaving the U.S. Air Force. I remember like it was yesterday driving away from the Lone Star state with my fist in the air as I headed back to Alabama. I’m so happy I served, but I was thrilled to leave it behind.
Unlike many airmen, I had the wonderful (insert major sarcasm) joy of being stationed for three years at Fort Hood, Texas. Yeah, an Air Force guy stranded with a bunch of Army guys. I never forgave the USAF for that.
It was also 10 years ago when I bought my car. That was my discharge present to myself. I’m still driving it today. Don’t laugh. I haven’t had a car payment in five years.
So, here’s to you, USAF. You were good to me, except for sticking me at that horrible base. Thank you for letting me spend three months in the United Arab Emirates, which I’ll probably never see again. Thank you for putting me through college.
Most of all, thank you for allowing me to serve.

Let me preface this by saying this is only to rile up conspiracy buffs. It’s not meant as a personal belief on my part.
So, stir the pot.
Obama looks like he’s the presidential nominee. Hillary can’t get the top job, so she tries for the veep. If that’s the Democrats’ ticket and they win, does Obama wind up like Vince Foster so HRC can take over?
I remember that incident very well. I was still in high school, and that caused a firestorm of controversy. If you don’t remember your history too well, look it up.
Just a fleeting thought I had a few days ago. I was hesitant about writing it down, but there it is. I don’t think it ever will, and I hope and pray it never does.
