We went back to the doctor today for another ultrasound.  This one was to see if his irregular heartbeat had improved, but it has not yet.  So, Dr. Golden is sending us to UAB to get their thoughts and opinions.

On top of his little heart, he has a little extra fluid in one of his kidneys.  Doc said that was very normal in unborn males, and it should be normal in a couple of weeks hopefully.  Even though they say not to worry, it’s hard not to when it’s yours.

Baby David should grow out of his irregular heartbeat, too.  I pray he does.  I watched it on the monitor today, but had to turn my head after seeing the arrhythmia.  I couldn’t stand seeing his little heart look so normal, then two quick beats in a row.

I don’t know when we’re going to Birmingham, but we should find out tomorrow.  Amy, Alyssa and I ask that you please continue to pray for him.  God is so good, and we know He’ll let Baby David be a beautiful, healthy boy.
